Alfred and Elisabet are two primitive youngsters who don’t know how to speak. In order to communicate with each other they have to use so-called sacktionaries, sacks filled with objects they use to say things.

One day, during a torrential storm, the strong waters drag the children away downstream. The Ark of Babel saves their lives and allows them to sail around seven very different seas.
