«Una de las mejores novelas que he leído en los últimos tiempos. No se la pierdan.» Rafael Conte
Synopsis
(Uriah and King David) This is the original and imaginative re-creation of one of the Biblical episodes that has been most inspirational to writers and artists throughout time. It tells the story of Uriah the hittite and his wife Bathsheba who was captured by David, captivated by her beauty, in the knowledge that this was an act against the law of Yahweh. García Valiño narrates the events from the perspective of the victim, of the foreigner, of the observer of a world to which he doesn’t belong to and, in doing so, raises questions that today are more relevant than ever.
