El caballo cobarde
Anaya, 2008 | The Cowardly Horse
Synopsis
(The Cowardly Horse). A king wanted to be the owner of the best horse in the whole world, and he swore that he would not stop until he had found it. So when, on a farm, he found a grey foal with a golden mane and tail, he knew that this was his horse and he didn’t mind paying a hundred pieces of silver for him. However, in battle, the horse didn’t behave exactly how the king had expected… A beautiful parable about ambition and luck, written by well-known poet and novelist Felipe Benítez Reyes.
With illustration by Beatriz Martín Vidal.
