“A novel of great subtlety, with a narrative voice that will seduce and disarm you completely”. Sam Abrams, El Mundo

Synopsis

An anonymous author of self-help books from Majorca discovers that a tabloid television programme is accusing her committing a “reckless quasi-murder”. Her alleged victim is a young man, Teo, who was knocked unconscious by a blow to the head from a rubbish bag that someone threw from the apartment where the protagonist lived years ago, during her first year of university in Barcelona.

Unexpectedly she becomes friends with Rut, the unscrupulous journalist who made the accusations on live television. Meanwhile Teo, now recovered, pursues her insistently with the intention of engaging in an intimate relationship.
