Sebastià Jovani is a novelist, poet and essayist. He debuted in 2006 with the essay Los libros del diablo (The Books of the Devil Llibres de l’index / Ediciones de la Tempestad), followed by his first novel, Emulsió de ferro (Iron Emulsion , La Magrana, 2009) which received the Brigada 21 Award, and Emet o la revolta (Emet or Rebellion, La Magrana, 2011), which was translated into Spanish by Duomo ediciones (Emet o la rebelión, 2012).

He has also contributed to various anthologies of poetry and short stories such as Nueve Fresquíssimos d’Espanya (Spain’s Freshest Nine, Produccions Escopeta, 2009), Matar en Barcelona (To Kill in Barcelona, Alpha Decay, 2010) and Crimes.Cat (Crims.Cat, Alrevés, 2011). More recently, his short story Juan y esas cosas mágicas (Juan and Those Magical Things, 2012) is part of the title list published by Sigueleyendo in its digital collection Bichos.
