Miqui Otero (Barcelona, 1980) is a novelist and a journalist contributing to several media outlets. He also teaches Literature and Creative Journalism. Among his novels, one should mention his debut, Hilo musical (Alpha Decay, 2010 – Fnac’s New Talent Prize), La cápsula del tiempo (Blackie Books, 2012), and Rayos (Blackie Books, 2016), considered by the critics “one of the great novels of Barcelona”.

His latest work is also the most ambitious and moving novel he has written so far, Simón (Blackie Books, September 2020), that received the Ojo Crítico Award to the Best Novel of the Year and will be published in several languages.
