It all began with a lentil who began to tire of life in the garden: the sunrise, the rain, the plants … it was all much of a muchness to him.

Worried sick, one day his brothers and sisters decided to introduce him to Watermelon, a lady with friends in all the right places, who would introduce him to someone who would show him the world.  No sooner said than done, the lentil set off on his travels: New York, Bretagne, Never-Never Island … Astounding places, one and all, but none so much as his final destination …
