Malén Denis (Buenos Aires, 1989) studied English, Photography, and Audiovisual Production and has a Master’s in Creative Writing from the National University of Tres de Febrero. She is author of the poetry books Con una remera de Sonic Youth (Nulú Bonsai, 2009), Buscar drogas en Wikipedia (Nulú Bonsai, 2014), Un gran incendio de vidrios (Nulú Bonsai, 2017), and Brillante (Ludwig, 2017). Since 2015, she has lead a workshop about seeking one’s own voice, “Writing and Intimacy.” In it, she works on identity as the raw material for literary production. She currently lives in New York with her husband and works as a feminist cultural correspondent for numerous press outlets.
After the publication of her debut novel, Litio (Concreto, 2019; Caballo de Troya/PRH, 2020), her latest published work is the volume of collected poems Isla de metal (Concreto, 2023).
She is currently working on her new novel.
