Bibiana Candia (A Coruña, 1977) is a writer. She has published the poetry collections La rueda del hamster (Torremozas, 2013) and Las trapecistas no tenemos novio (Torremozas, 2016), the book of short stories El pie de Kafka (Torremozas, 2015) and the narrative artefact Fe de erratas (Franz, 2014).
She is a regular contributor to Jot Down, Letras Libres and The Objective. Her first novel is Azucre (Pepitas de Calabaza, 2021), with which she has won the readers’ NoLlegiu Award 2021, the Festival du Premier Roman de Chambéry 2022 and the LibrerÃas Navarras Prize 2022.
