Ismael Grasa is the author of La esforzada disciplina del aristócrata (Premio Félix Urabayen de Novela Corta), De Madrid al cielo (Premio Tigre Juan; shortlisted for the Premio Herralde; Anagrama, 1994), Días en China (Anagrama, 1996), La tercera guerra mundial (Anagrama, 2002) and Trescientos días de sol (Xordica, 2007, Ojo Crítico - RNE 2007 Prize).
Has also written the travel book Sicilia (El Cobre, 2000). After his latest novel, Brindis (Xordica, 2008), hi has published a non-fiction book: La flecha en el aire (Debate, 2011), a new book of short stories, El Jardín (Xordica, 2014) and La hazaña secreta (Turner, 2018).
