(True Lies) We all have something to hide. Whether insignificant, big, white or unforgivable, lies invariably play a role in human relationships. A couple is anxious to adopt a baby, but first there is the ordeal of all sorts of tests to go through. Faced with such a situation, it is hard not to lie – at least a little. Nevertheless, a lie can sometimes be more revealing than the naked truth and this is precisely what this novel deals with.
