Cambio de marcha
Alba, 2002
(Gear Change) This is a novel about friendship seen through a group of friends who set out on the Way of St. James on bicycles at the end of their secondary school studies. It is a symbolic way of starting a new phase in their lives. It is a change of rhythm, a change of gear that enables them to get to know each other differently. There is also humour, intrigue and adventure, in a landscape filled with history and art, with the odd incident and may surprises. The main characters in Change of Gear live through several intense days in which they test their physical resistence and their personal relations, at the same time as they get to know people and places that they will never forget.
