Los desvanes (Artículos)
Pre-Textos/Península/La Veleta
(The Attics) Under this epigraph, Andrés Trapiello unites his journalistic articles, which form part, together with his Salón de los pasos perdidos volumes, of this novel in progress, in which the writer’s task was centred. His contributions for the press are a way to “speak of life, as Chaplin did in the era of silent cinema, something that while tragic, can be read with a melancholic smile. Or better still, something that makes us a little wiser without making us a little worse”. The volumes published until now include: A Thousand Out of a Thousand (Pre-Textos, 1995), Everything is Less (Pre-Textos, 1997), The Relative Blue (Península, 1999), The Fleetingness of Days (Península, 2000), Tururú and other polemics (Península, 2001), Yes and No (Península, 2002), Sea Without Shore (Península, 2002), Against all Evidence (La Veleta, 2004), Now We Are Two (La Veleta, 2004), Oranges of the Sea (La Veleta, 2007) and More or Less (La Veleta, 2007).
