Rolando Villazón studied at Mexico’s National Conservatory of Music, before entering the young artists programme in Pittsburgh, and at the San Francisco Opera. Awarded the Chevalier des Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in France, Rolando Villazón is an internationally renowned tenor. Malabares (Espasa, April 2013) is his first novel.
