Lourdes IGLESIAS
She lives and works in Barcelona since 2004. She has been a cello player and composer before becoming a writer of scripts and stories and a cinema director.
As a scriptwriter she has worked in El Club de los Falsos Recuerdos (con Jesús Regueira, 1995), 99.9 (Agustín Villaronga. 1997), Extraños, (Imanol Uribe, 1998) and Los Señores de Gardenia, (Antonio Aloy. 1999). She is the writer and director of the short movie Carol, no te dispares, 2001. In 2006, she wrote and co-directed Guided tour II, with Cristina Iglesias, and in 2007 she co-directed the documentary Will it be a likeness? By John Berger and Juan Muñoz.
As a writer, her first published book was Red Seaweed (Alfabia, 2008). She has recently finished her first novel.
