Dolors BORAU
Barcelona, 1963
Dolors Borau has a diploma in Dietetics and Human Nutrition and is a teacher of musical language. She is the author of the short story collection Taula Reservada (Angle Editorial, 2006). Her first novel, Com una pedra (Columna, 2009), earned the 19th Pin i Soler Literary Prize for the City of Tarragona. Her latest published work is the children’s book Una festa sobre rodes (Cruïlla, 2010), written in collaboration with the poet Oriol Izquierdo and the illustrator Ignasi Blanch. Una festa sobre rodes includes a pictorial system, an adapted system that uses visual images to help children with brain diseases to read books.
